Open Ended Inquiry: Engage students in an open-ended inquiry with this image by using the See-Think-Wonder Strategy below. Asking them what they see allows them to focus on evidence in the visual text. Asking them what they think focuses their attention on making inferences about what they see. Then, asking them what they wonder provides an opportunity for them to ask questions and conduct research to answer those questions.
